DAN CARLSON and his wife, Karen, came to Belle Fourche in 2022. Perhaps best known as Dan Dan the Weather-man from his days as a TV meteorologist in Rapid City, Dan has answered the call to ministry and is CLC’s senior pastor. Karen works at Nehl Dental, and they have two grown children. Dan is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys military history, and has two best-selling novels.

PAUL HOWARD has been a pastor at CLC for nearly 40 years and is well-known in the Belle Fourche community. He serves as CLC’s associate pastor, and is active with the Belle Fourche Ministerial Association, Belle Fourche Public Library, Compassion Cupboard, and hospice ministry. Paul is an avid reader and enjoys painting. He and his wife, Judy, have three grown children.
